Christmas can be a lonely time for anyone separated from loved ones, even if that someone is a Great Dane, Golden Retriever or Poodle. Life’s challenges for humans can leave pets in a desperate spot. But one local animal rescue service is teaming up with the Topeka Parole Office to make sure dogs in the area are taken care of this holiday season.
