Welcome to the State of Kansas registered offender website. On this site you can search for information that is publicly available about registered sex, violent and drug offenders.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) has established this website to facilitate
public access to information about persons who have been convicted of certain sex,
violent and drug offenses, as set forth in the Kansas Offender Registration Act
(K.S.A. 22-4901 et seq.). This information is made available to the public and law
enforcement in the interest of public safety. Any unauthorized use of this information
is forbidden and subject to criminal prosecution.
The KBI makes no representations or warranties, either express or implied, that
the information on this website is complete or accurate. Neither the KBI nor the
State of Kansas shall be liable for any errors or omissions on this website, or
for any errors or omissions which result from secondary dissemination of this information.
Any person, agency or entity, public or private, who reuses, publishes or communicates
information obtained through this website shall be solely liable and responsible
for any claim or cause of action based upon or alleging an improper or inaccurate
disclosure arising from such reuse, publication or communication, including but
not limited to actions for defamation and invasion of privacy.
This website is updated every fifteen (15) minutes, and the KBI makes every effort
to ensure such information is complete, accurate and current. However, information
on this website is compiled based, in part, upon information provided by the registered
offender. As such, the registry may contain erroneous information.
If you believe any information contained on this website is erroneous, or if you
have information regarding an offender whose address is shown as “non-compliant,”
please contact the KBI Offender Registration Unit by mail, email or telephone or
you are encouraged to contact your local Sheriff’s Office.
Additionally, some offender information is not subject to public disclosure and
therefore, not included on this website. Pursuant to the Kansas Supreme Court’s
decision in State v. Myers, 260 Kan. 669 (1996), information for offenders who committed
their offense prior to April 14, 1994, is restricted from the public.
Lastly, please note that the only way to positively link someone to a registered
offender record is through fingerprint verification. A positive identification cannot
conclusively be established by comparing name, date of birth, or other information
provided on this website. Moreover, this website does not include a complete criminal
history for each offender, and therefore, obtaining information from the website
does not constitute a valid background check for any purpose including employment
and housing. To conduct a Kansas criminal history record check, go to
www.kansas.gov/kbi/criminalhistory.
Warning: Any person who uses information obtained through this website
to threaten, intimidate or harass another, or who otherwise misuses the information,
may be subject to criminal prosecution and/or civil liability.
