- Winfield Correctional Facility unveiled its new 240-bed specialized unit providing geriatric care, a substance abuse treatment program, and a training program open for residents who wish to become certified as a CNA aide to help with care of fellow elderly residents. An Open House was held 2-17-23 and 30 residents will be moved in on a weekly basis beginning 2-28-23 until the unit is full.
